PremiereofthenewversionofGoogle’soperatingsystemmaytakeplacelaterthismonth.OneofthenoveltiesintroducedbytheAndroidLhastobesupportfor64-bitprocessors.Developersintheorycanalreadytestthissolutionbymeansofanofficialemulator.
Afterthepresentationofsupporting64-bitsiPhone5sworkingunderiOS7usersbegantowonderwhenhandling64bitswillgotoAndroiddevicesandwhendeveloperswillbeabletotakeadvantageofthenewarchitecture.Itseemsthatthiswillhappensoon.Ihavealreadycreatedthefirst64-bitSoCsystems,anewOSfromGoogleistofullyexploittheirpotential. AndroidLwaspresentedinJuneattheconferenceGoogleI/Ointendedfordevelopersofmobilesoftware.Thenewversionoftheoperatingsystemintroducesalotofnewproducts,ofwhichthemostprominentisacompletelynewinterfacecalledMaterialDesign.Considerablechangesinthesystemalsowilloccur”underthehood”andnotlimitedtothedefaultinclusionofART.
