The world is burning – Android on the iPhone – PC World

Nick Lee, who became famous after he managed to launch
Windows 95 smartwatchu Apple just showed his new
 diabolical work. Brooklyn hacker created
3D printed housing for iPhone, which allows you to
phone to run the Android operating system.

The idea is brilliant in its simplicity. Although the iPhone as
such zhackować extremely difficult, Lee walked around it, building
special housing , which is hidden plate
Android on board. The set was needed only Special
Tendigi application on iOS. As soon as we put the iPhone into the housing,
Tendigi runs Android on Apple hardware.

Lee says that the entire project was only possible
because Android is relatively easy to hacked
 software
, so proficient hacker is able to
clone the system and create another version of it. It is thanks to her,
Android is able to communicate with the iPhone.

For full – coincidentally – the image remained add
something that will forward the image and Android
equipment with which it is possible to communicate with iOS. Lee used
libimobiledevice and usbmuxd, through which it was possible
communication with the iPhone. The hardware hack was supported hikey
 board, which worked just android.

Interestingly, all components hidden in a cabinet with print
does not make it much thicker of
Standard cover on the phone with the battery. Project Nick Lee
only proof of the ability of a hacker. We can not wait to show
 something nastęnego.
