new model is the second phone developed by Philips with Android operating system. The previous Philips’ie V900 informed you include here: Three new models of Philips X806, C702 and V900
Philips V808 features: 3.2 “HVGA touch screen, GPS, a special interface with widgets, 3.2MP camera, music and video player, MicroSD card reader (up to 8GB), 1000 mAh battery, it has to work in networks GSM / GPRS / EDGE. It is to be available in the near future in China. We have no current information that will be released in Europe as well.

Is Philips has any chance to return to the mobile phone industry? It all depends on how popular they were the new models in China.
