Several days ago, HTC has announced that One S smartphone software will not see the update to version 4.2. Now it seems that the harsh criticism of the community forced the Taiwanese company to change its position.

The main difference is in the case of the processor – Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.5 GHz in the “richer” version (Ville) and S3 1.7 GHz Ville C2 . Such diversity is the need to prepare two different optimized version.
Recent sources say that HTC will prepare the new Android 4.2.2 JB with Sense overlay of 5, but only for the version of S4. This information did not come from official channels, but from a source that previously was known for its very precise information about the software for HTC. It is worth mentioning also that this source in June, the month before the official announcement, reported that HTC decided to discontinue support for the One S.
