In November, Microsoft has started beta testing release of MS Office for Android, and expected to be released today its first stable version.
Edition for Android is called a simple name – “Office for Android”. During the beta package was downloaded over 250,000 times and users came from 110 countries and used a total of 33 languages. According to further Microsoft office suite appeared on 500 different mobile devices, and the total number of models to over 3000 (various configuration options of five). Active users – there were more than 30,000 – discovered some bugs and components need to be fixed – but with no mention of the exact amount, but it is known that the majority was patched. Office for Android should be available from today, ie. January 29, 2015.

Hardware requirements for the package are: Android 4.4 KitKat, screen 10.1-inch to (more require a subscription to Office 365 to create and edit documents), ARM processor, 1 GB of RAM. Lollipop is not yet supported, but it has been changing over the next few weeks.
