Android N: applications can be run on windows – Computer World

As we all know, Android N debuted with a multi-window mode,
 so the opportunity to work with two applications on a split
 screen. Forget about it, because Google is preparing something much
 better.

Editors ArsTechnica find any sign in the code and documentation
 Android N information job opportunities with applications
 which can be run on windows.
As with Windows or
 based on the Android OS Remix (picture below).

 allows you to run applications in windows

The documentation Android N find the following information:
  Producers of larger devices can select an irregular
 shape, where the user can change the size of the activity. If
 producer activates the option, the device will offer off mode
 ability to work in a split screen.

This means that such a possibility will be firmly on tablets and
 computers with Android. For smartphones, because of its small
 screens, a similar solution is not sure what to count.

ArsTechnica also mentions the records in the code file
 framework-res.apk:

& lt; string name = “enable_freeform_support” & gt; Enable freeform
 windows & lt; / string & gt;

& lt; string name = “enable_freeform_support_summary” & gt; Enable
 support for experimental freeform windows. & lt; / string & gt;

Google officially yet it does not boast, but I guess,
 that more information will be heard in the course of the May conference Google
 I / O 2016. It remains to wait.

In the video below you look at the Lord Appkę where
 present new applications and games:
