The American branch of the Korean manufacturer has announced a new initiative which aims to increase the competitiveness of its vehicles on the market for cars equipped with modern communication technologies. The company announced that buyers of selected models, completely free systems receive CarPlay Apple and Android Auto.
Both technologies provide vehicles full integration with smartphones, allowing the use of a touch screen built into the dashboard, among others, GPS navigation, listening to music and watching movies, as well as the application starts. These systems through voice assistants like Siri and Google Now also allow not only to receive or make calls while driving, but also read the received voice messages, and even dictate to them.
New systems will be standard on models such as the Forte, Optima, Optima Hybrid, Sedona, Soul, Soul EV, Sorento and Sportage.
