That is why Volvo decided that to join the initiative Open Automotive Alliance and simultaneously to the Apple platform CarPlay, will implement Android Auto, which through a brand new touch screen Embedded in the center console, will benefit from the services and features well-known holders of smartphones and tablets.
Android Auto will provide access to services such as Google Search, Google Maps, Google Play Music, as well as an external application in the form of even Spotify. All programs will be matched control interface which, through buttons on the steering wheel, touch screen or voice
commands. In this way, the application service will not be distracted driver’s attention. Android Auto appears in the new Volvo cars based on the platform of SPA, and the first model, in which you will be able to use it, is the Volvo XC90.
