Android version KitKat appear in more and more devices. In the past two months, its share increased by 6 percentage points.
In June Android version 4.4 was installed on 14.9% of devices. At the beginning of August this result increased to 20.9%. Still, still the most popular version of the system is Jelly Bean (4.1.x), and still enjoys considerable popularity, already worn, Gingerbread (2.3.6) with a score of 13.6%.
Popularity Growth latest version sees the huge popularity of flagship models such as LG G3 or Samsung Galaxy TAB S. The current results give reason to hope for a decrease fragmentation of Android and a reduction in the share of older versions of the system below the level of 10 %. It has been some time, since the premiere of the latest version of the system – Android L, will take place in a few months.
