Android L is the Lemon Meringue Pie? – Computer World (press release)

The next version of Android are hiding under the names of different
 sweetness. Will be no different with the next installment of the system.
 However, Google is silent on the topic if the official name
 Android L, which is now in the hands of developers.

Meanwhile, Android Police editors find any sign of the new SDK
 Android, as well as in AOSP (Android Open Source Project) repeatedly
 appearing abbreviation “LMP”. This name also appears in
 certificate Wi-Fi Alliance for Nexus 9 (aka HTC Flounder), with
 which

It has been suggested that LMP is an abbreviation of the name of Lemon Meringue Pie. A
 is nothing more than a lemon tart. So we are left to wait
 official confirmation from Google.
