Android gets down to … printers! – CHIP

Samsung is trying to create the perfect printer wpasowujących in IT ecosystems and smart offices, has equipped its new multifunction devices running Android applications in a scalable, intuitive interface and smart solution UX Center, allowing them to work without a computer.

All new Samsung MFP Series Smart MultiXpress have a 10.1-inch fully touch screen, allowing users to search and print materials from web browsers, e-mail, maps, images and other types of content, without having to connect to a computer or server. The touch screen also allows you to view documents, and even the use of editing and annotation.

Multifunction devices with a new series of Smart MultiXpress are equipped with IBM Smart Samsung’s UX Center – tactile and possible modification technology, UX, known from smartphones and tablets from Samsung Galaxy family. Moreover, believed to be the first device in the industry that use touch feedback technology, which through vibration creates a new type of tactile sensations better in reception for the users.

The Android operating system provides a series of multi-function devices Smart MultiXpress unlimited scalability printing – as in the case of the technology in smartphones – and allows communication via Samsung Cloud Print function, which further increases the range of communication capability and scalability.

Furthermore, all of these devices are compatible with the platform solutions print XOA (eXtensible Open Architecture) Samsung and can be modified in order to implement the special needs of business.

In addition, the devices are equipped with an improved NFC Pro, and respond to the ever changing needs of the B2B market. The new module Samsung NFC Pro (available and sold separately) enables mobile printing via smartphones. It also ensures secure user authentication process and improved IT administrative options, such as the ability to “clone” your security settings to multiple devices by simply pressing the multifunction module NFC Pro.
