Samsung presents the printer with Android – Computerworld


 
 
 Samsung showed at the fair 10 printers belonging to the line of Smart MultiXpress managed by Android. They have been designed so that you can configure and use not using at all PCs. All are equipped with a touch screen with a diagonal of 10.1 inches, which is used for example. To search for documents or images and maps on the Internet and then print them. In a similar way, you can print resources stored by mail applications.

Each employee employed in a company can have on the printer its own account and log in to it. This can be done by typing on the screen your ID and password, or use the wireless technology NFC (Near Field Communication) that these printers support. The devices are compatible with the company’s platforms XOA (eXtensible Open Architecture, Internet open platform Samsung) and the Samsung Cloud Print, which means that documents can be printed remotely from smartphones and tablets.

Samsung provides with the fact that the new Android printers work almost two times faster than currently available standard printer. There are also energy efficient and used by no cartridge lasts longer (they are able to print more pages of documents.)

Samsung offers four categories of printers Smart MultiXpress line: X4300 (color, A4), K4350 (black / white , A3), M5370 (black / white, A4) and M4580 (also black / white and A4).
