Lollipop Android 5.1.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 also 4 … – Tabletowo.pl

The Samsung has a diversified range of mobile devices, which are different from each other preinstalled, those used components or quality. Despite this, the Koreans are trying to, if possible, update their smartphones and tablets to newer versions of the software. More interestingly, Lollipop Android 5.1 has just been released in Korea for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 Version 4 Wi-Fi, and a little earlier for Swiss varieties of LTE, which Barry wrote a few days ago.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is last year’s mid-priced tablet that has a pretty decent specification. TFT LCD 8 “WXGA (1,280 x 800 pixels), 400 Snapdragon quad-core, 1.5 GB of RAM and a 4450 mAh battery and out of the box runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

The first update was made available for Galaxy Tab 8.0 LTE 4 in Switzerland, and now it goes on decks variants of Wi-Fi, originating in Korea. Probably the Polish Lollipop will arrive within the next few weeks. Of course, device or Kies themselves inform us of this – so far there is nothing else but to be patient.

Among the most visible change is a revamped interface, compliant with the guidelines Material Design. Also corrected notification system. It is worth mentioning the improved performance, although it potraktowałbym with a grain of salt – differently from the case.

Updating the mid-range hardware is undoubtedly an interesting strategy of Samsung. Mid-end tablet with last year, will work on the basis of newer system than some much more expensive devices from Koreans, including S Galaxy Tab 10.5 (Android 5.0.2). We are glad, however, that the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 5.1 Android lived to see Lollipop – see if competition is equally willing to provide an update to its “średniopółkowców.”
