The most recent statistics released by Google on the Android Developers blog, which cover a period of one week to 2 November 2015., shows that 37.8 per cent. active devices based on Android is currently under the control of the system in version 4.4 (KitKat).
KitKat in the last month lost 1.1 points. percent. share and slightly increased advantage over Android 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which recorded a drop of 30.2 percent. to 29 percent. She lost as version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (from 3.4 per cent. To 3.3 per cent.) And remained unchanged share of 2.3 Gingerbread (3.8 percent.).
In contrast, Android 5.0 and 5.1 (Lollipop) won 25.6 per cent. share, a result of 2.1 points. percent. better than at the beginning of October.
