Android Nougat reduces the image resolution in Galaxy S7 CHIP

You currently Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Android Marshmallow and a beautiful display running a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Satisfied, you set the update to Android Nougat and… find that the display has changed resolution to 1080p. What the hell?

fortunately, it’s not a glitch, a mistake or sabotage functions of the phone. Nougat from Samsung includes a new power-saving modes and, apparently, decided that in order to provide you with more time without charging your phone, reduce the display resolution.

fortunately, this can be changed in the phone settings, in the category “display”. While on the other hand… are you sure you want to consume more energy for those extra pixels?
