As reported by Western services, Google has already started work on Android 5.1. Apparently they are quite advanced stage, because the software is released in February of 2015. All indications are that the new system will put mainly on the improvement and more cosmetic changes.
This early release of a new version of the software may seem surprising, because Android 5.0 Lollipop debuted just a month and a half ago. The system was even given a small update, but the number of devices operating on it is still not large. Perhaps Google simply notes some gaps in your OS and, wanting to get out in front of users, is going a bit to improve it.
According to leaks in version 5.1 should return to silent mode, which disappeared with the release of Android Lollipop. The system should have a more stable and better management of RAM.
