Android 5.0.2 for tablets Lollipop LG G Pad 7.0 and 10.1 – Softonet

The Korean electronics maker announced the release of the latest version of Android – Lollipop – for your tablet a little over two weeks ago. The first devices on which you could upgrade the operating system were models G Pad 8.0 and 8.3 G Pad Google Play Edition. Today we are joined by G Pad 7.0 and 10.1 through Android update to version 5.0.2 (LRX22G).

Android Edition Lollipop was supposed to be a huge success for Google, however, a few days after the official release of the users of smartphones and tablets with the Nexus series first began to report problems, some of which belonged to quite serious. Despite several months of open testing and provide a synoptic version of robotic named L , developers failed to timely deal with errors. Since the launch of Lollipop it’s been half a year, have been given three (5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.1) updates, and system problems persist. This unfortunate situation for Google makes Android Lollipop is currently installed on 5.4% of all devices running the operating system software from Mountain View. It is a very poor result, but considering the problems faced by Google, it’s hard to wonder OEMs who very slowly update the software on their devices.

One of the first companies that decided to upgrade on their Android smartphones was LG, which in November last year released a upgrade to G3 phone. Since then, several other models of smartphones waited to upgrade, but the new Android for tablets South Korean manufacturer learned only at the end of March. Lollipop hit the Android Tablets beginning Pad 8.0 G and G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition, but last night launched a software update for the models G and G Pad 7.0 Pad 10.1.

The latest version of the operating system is available via OTA (Over The Air). From what we have so far to find the update could make not only the users who have purchased their devices in the official distribution channel. Also, devices from mobile network operators receive updates, but at the moment it is only confirmed subscribers Play.
