The first controller in the series Stratus (whose review you can read here) was produced initially in two versions: one cooperating with iOS, and other compatible with Windows and Android. Unfortunately, the second incarnation did not enjoy too much interest users, and therefore fairly quickly disappeared from the company’s offer, and the next representative of the series – Stratus XL – has been already versions only MFi … or so it looked like the day of its release.
A few days ago we found out that the Danish manufacturer of peripherals for gamers, however, has not forgotten about users of other systems, as evidenced by the revamped incarnation of this model XL, designed to on Windows and Android. Although at first glance it does not differ much from its predecessor, yet upon closer inspection it can be seen some really positive improvements. Designers falls not only refreshed some of its design, but also packed it with additional function keys and dedicated software to better match the controller performance for our needs.
Stratus XL for Windows and Android will be available in stores in early July this year, with a suggested retail price of approx. 260 PLN. More information about it can be found on the official website of SteelSeries.
