Android KitKat leader, but down as Jelly Bean, Lollipop up – wirtualnemedia.pl

The most recent statistics released by Google on the Android Developers blog, which cover a period of one week to 5 October 2015., shows that 38.9 per cent. active devices based on Android is currently under the control of the system in version 4.4 (KitKat).

KitKat in the last month lost 0.3 points. percent. share, while increased advantage over Android 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which had a more pronounced decline – from 31.8 per cent. to 30.2 percent.

The declines recorded in the earlier versions of the system – Gingerbread 2.3 (from 4.1 per cent. to 3.8 per cent.) and 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (with 3.7 percent. 3 4 per cent.).

In contrast, Android 5.0 and 5.1 (Lollipop) won 23.5 per cent. share, a result of 2.5 points. percent. better than at the beginning of September.

Google has just announced the official launch of the latest version of Android – 6.0 Marshmallow.
