Android: Google patches 15 critical vulnerabilities. You can already download … – PC World

Google has provided to owners of devices with the Nexus line security update flying many critical vulnerabilities.

As part of the Android Monthly Security Bulletin Release Google released the Nexus family of devices with security update. Users who do not want to wait for the opportunity to download it in the over-the-air (OTA) can download the appropriate image from Google for developers.

From the Google-newsletter that update fixes a total of 40 errors, including 15 that have received the status of “Critical.” Among the latter, most allow an attacker to get into the device and the remote execution of arbitrary code. It is also worth noting that the critical risks related devices running on Android from version 4.4.4 to 6.0.1.
