A report prepared by IDC shows that leadership position in the sale of Android tablets came ahead of iOS devices.
iOS caved under the pressure of hundreds of models of Android tablets

compared to the same period in 2012, sales of Android tablets increased by almost 250 percent. This means that in the first three months sold nearly 28 million units of software Google, which accounts for over 56 per cent. all sold at that time tablets. In second place came the iOS (almost 40 percent), and the third Windows with a minor contribution (about 3.5 per cent.).
In the first quarter of 2013, we bought more than 49 million tablets, which is really impressive result.
