Opera for Android WebKit already! - OnSoftware UK

Opera has just released a new version of its mobile browser. The most important change: Opera for Android now supports the WebKit engine .

According to the announcement, made during Mobile World Congress this year, Opera abandon its own operating system in favor of a more modern browser WebKit . Free application now has slightly improved look and a new bookmark manager. In addition, improved offline mode , Turbo and improved manager downloads.

Opera she added also two completely new things that were not so far in the mobile browser. It is a mode Discover and Off-Road. The first one allows you to view the latest news from the areas close to your interests. Opera selects the same source, so it may surprise us with something interesting.

Off-Road allows you to save the data transfer, which can be particularly useful for trips, holidays or roaming.
