Android 5.0 with 1.6 percent market share – Onet.pl

Google over the past few months trying to conceal the fact that Android 5.0 is not so readily installed by users of mobile devices as it counted. The company in the monthly rankings are popular version of the system, so far avoided publishing statistics on Lollipop, and now we know why.

Latest statement it shows that the share of the system’s market share is only 1.6 percent. Blame for it mainly by operators and OEMs, who are reluctant to share their updates offered models of smartphones, but also probably the users themselves have made little from each other, because some of them will stay with the previously used system.

gladly the version of Android is still Jelly Bean, which still has 44.5 percent of the market, although there can be seen a slight decrease popularity since last month, this result was 46 percent. While there was a slight increase in the popularity of Android 4.4 KitKat, which to date has increased 39.1 percent to 39.7 percent.

A surprisingly large share of the market, as much as 7.4 percent, is already an aging Gigerbread Android, and Froyo installed is currently at 0.4 percent of devices, which also gives the number several million smartphones and tablets.

Different versions of Android rather slowly gaining market so maybe at the end of Lollipop results significantly improve.
