Google has published a new report on the popularity of the various versions of Android prepared based on devices that have access to its websites. The data that were collected on 27.01 – 2.02, for the first time also includes a couple of months ago with the premiere of the system Android 5.0 Lollipop . Unfortunately, due to providing an update for even a small part of smartphones, it must now just 1.6% “androidowego market.” For other versions of the system, we have the following situation:

– compared to the January report, Android 4.4 KitKat popularity grew from 39.1% to 39.7%, which means that it is still the second most popular version Google Mobile

See also:

– maintained first place with a score of 44.5% of Android Jelly Bean, which, however, saw a slight decline in popularity (with level of 46%)
– the popularity of Android Ice Cream Sandwich decreased from 6.7% to 6.4%
– Gingerbread Android’s popularity fell from 7.8% to 7.4%
– last place went, just like in the previous quotation, for Android Froyo, whose market share has not changed (still amounts to 0.4%)

In the coming months we (hopefully) a significant increase in the number of updates the following smartphones. This means that we need to observe a systematic increase in the popularity of “lollipop”.
