Users of older devices after the upgrade usually pay attention to the changes made by the producers, not by Google. This does not mean, however, that this system has not been seriously modified – in this particular issue there have been many changes “under the hood”, which makes the system not only safer, but faster. One of them is special Doze mode, which automatically falls asleep background-running applications, significantly extending the time of the application. You have to bear in mind that its operation can cause some problems, it falls because of a conflict with another system mechanism.

Doze in the assumptions would be an extension of the power saving mode, which appeared earlier, the fifth version of Android. Initially, it was not known exactly what this will suit. Specialists from Google explained, however, that this is a special function responsible for lulling applications when running in idle mode. When we do not use our smartphone or tablet in an active way, the programs running in the background are automatically “suppressed”, not needlessly awaken the processor, enabling significant savings and longer working hours. Of course, it will not save us from a decrease in the charge level after a game or using the display on a high level of brightness, but taking into account the variables to use in the day and so gives good results.

As it turns out, this function affects the operation of other system mechanisms. One of them is the manager of Android devices, which is responsible for remotely locating, searching and erase any device. His options can be found in Google settings (phone or tablet), the default mechanism connects to the Google account and periodically saves the location of the equipment.
