Kaspersky Lab presents a new free app for Android – Phound! It is a tool that allows users to protect valuable things for them – mobile devices and personal information.

Kaspersky Phound! offers owners the ability to remotely control the gadgets of their devices and the data stored on them through the portal My Kaspersky. In case of loss or theft of the device, users can quickly block them, preventing unauthorized access, as well as the use of GPS technology, GSM or Wi-Fi to determine the position of the equipment on the map. To facilitate the search for devices, users can remotely take pictures with the built-in front of the camera or not to display a message on its screen.
If you misplaced your phone or tablet at home or in the office, you can locate it using the alarm function – the device gives a loud sound that remains until the introduction of the secret code. As a last resort the owner of a lost smartphone / tablet, you can use the remote to destroy all personal data from the device and SD card, including contacts, messages, pictures etc. It is also possible to remotely perform a hard reset of the device.
