On the one hand, Sony – as did the other manufacturers of smartphones – trying to convince users that popular mid-range models are equally interesting and worth considering, as the chart-topping (and usually very expensive) “flagships”. That was even at the last fair of mobile devices in Barcelona, where Sony strongly promoted its model Xperia M4 Aqua actually pretty interesting.
But it is also, unfortunately, the other side of the coin – a perennial “care for” the producer of the releases on models already, manifesting itself in a variety of patching the vulnerabilities, fixing bugs, or just software updates. And in this case, Sony, unfortunately, showed that all smartphones are equal, but some more equal.
According to information published on Sony’s account on Twitter, an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop can expect only the holders of a series of Xperia smartphones Z. What Xperiami with other scribbles in the name, eg. C, E, F or T? Well, I have overcome the taste. Fortunately, new smartphones, such as the Xperia M4 (pictured above), now compete directly with the “lollipop” on board. But did they ever live to see the upgrade to Android 6.0 or a 7.0? Well …
