Android M, like previous versions, “the robot”, will be called “sweet” name.
The next Google mobile system is developed under the code name Android M . Dave Burke announced today on Twitter that its official name will sound Marshmallow (it appeared in earlier speculations). Additionally, posted the following picture:

As you can see, Google has traditionally when the decision on the the name of the next version of Android reached sweets available on the market. Marshmallow because it is a kind of foams made with corn syrup, gelatin and water.
