You can disable it, but is so pleasing to the eye and completely not bothered during the session, I did not feel the need for its off. TV stand, unfortunately, does not allow for any adjustments. Fortunately, the TV itself, considering the functions and, above all, the picture quality is definitely worth recommending. Great quality, sharpness, color reproduction and properly used modules of improving that image make movies and games on this TV is a pleasure. Sony as the average shelf offers us something that a year ago was selling as high. I would definitely recommend. As an alternative, the closest competitors are also worth seeing in this class, pointing JU7500 Samsung and Panasonic CX7.
