C4I introduced into the Polish market new Android minicomputer – model HIMEDIA Q8 Quad Core. The device can be used as a HD media player, set-top box IPTV, home media for the switch, file server or a DLNA server. It also allows access to files from Microsoft Office programs.

HIMEDIA Q8 Quad Core distinguished by small size and golden color. On board the device will find quad-core processor ARM Cortex-A7 clocked at 1.5 GHz each core, GPU Mali-450 GPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB Flash memory for the user. The components provide smooth and multitasking operation of the player. The high compatibility with audio-visual evidence of connector: RJ45 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN Audio: Optical S / PDIF and stereo L / R, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, outputs: composite and HDMI and the card reader 2-in-1 (SD / MMC). To control the player is new, intelligent infrared remote control with programmable keys. The used chip Hisilicon Hi3798M makes HIMEDIA Q8 Quad Core supports resolutions and 4Kx2K UHD hardware plays HEVC H.265 codec that doubles the data compression ratio compared to H.264 at the same level of quality. This allows users to enjoy high definition video, even in low-speed internet access. HIMEDIA player also supports multi-channel audio tracks DTS and Dolby Digital passthrough (SPDIF) and Dolby TrueHD passthrough (HDMI).

The retail price of Q8 Quad Core HIMEDIA in the basic amounts to 479,00 zł gross. In the version SET TOP BOX – 509 zł gross. The product is covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty for companies and 24 months for home users.
