Android Wear 2.0: Revolution in the introduction of text – CHIP

This is the biggest update in the system Android Wear, which took place so far. Definitely deserves so to determine Android 2.0. In retrospect, it might look like that while watches with Android Wear (1.0) were rather one-sided communication devices (receive notifications, reading, watching, checking), whereas Android Wear 2.0 turns in two-way communication. Google found a way to to enter text on the small screens of watches in a way so convenient and intuitive as possible. Even several ways.

Users will be able to use either because of a small keyboard, or enter the letters or words by hand, writing just your finger across the screen. Importantly, the system will also be open on the keyboard developed by independent developers, and therefore it is possible the emergence of still more interesting and more convenient solutions. Writing an email or a message on the watch? It begins to sound a bit more sense than ever.

On the other hand, maybe we will not have anything to write about. Google introduced also in a Android Wear function intelligent answers (in English) on received messages – there is a high probability that you simply select one of them.

Watches Android Wear 2.0 are also better check applications aktywnościowych – better identify the type of sport (running, walking, cycling) and compare also collected information with other devices that use the Google API Fit. In general, one can see a clear trend to watch independence of communication with the smartphone, in the direction of an independent communication (within the individual applications) to various devices and Internet network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and – in an increasing number of cases – LTE.

Of course, there were also pampered same interface watches. Have been improved shields, which will show more information (including third party applications), and the whole thing just looks better (and darker), according to the Material Design. It should also pay attention to the new look interface application selection.
