Android with a record popularity. On crushes competition – PC World

 

Analyst firm Kantar Worldpanel released the latest results of research on the popularity of mobile operating systems. These included the first three months of 2016 years (ending in March) and the five largest European countries: Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain and Spain.

The report shows that Android is doing fantastically. Obtained by its competitors results are as follows:

– United Kingdom: 58.8% (up from 52.9%)

– Germany: 76.1% (up from 71.3%)

– France 74 , 3% (up from 64.6%)

– Italy: 78.3% (up from 66.2%)

– Spain: 89.9% ( up from 92.9%)

Apple iOS

– United Kingdom: 34.8% (down from 38.1%)

– Germany: 17.8% (down from 18.3%)

– France: 20.0% (up from 19.4%)

– Italy: 14.8% (down from 17.5%)

– Spain: 6.4% (down from 7.0%)

Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Mobile Phone

– United Kingdom: 6.2% (down from 8.0%)

– Germany: 4.9% (down from 8.7%)

– France: 5.0% (down from 14.1%)

– Italy: 6.3% (down from 14.4%)

– Spain: 0.6% (down from 2.8%)

As you can see, the biggest loser on the European market is the mobile platform from Microsoft. Apple, there is no reason for complacency, especially if we take into account the results of the last three months for EU5:

– iOS: a decline from 20.2% to 18.9% (a decrease of 1.3 points percentage)

– Android: an increase of 3.3 percentage points
