The information comes from the Canadian mobile operator Telus, which on its website published the schedule for updating phones with Android to the latest version for its subscribers.
Telus anywhere admittedly does not suggest that the date of 22 August was a way endorsed by Google, so it does not inscribe itself still in the calendar, but the Canadian operator has not made a mistake last time by posting the release date of Android 6.0.
