About the fact that pure Android Nougat bring significant visual changes, said a lot. Now we gain confirmation that the launcher in a Nexus will soon begin to look a little different than today.
As reported by the Android Police, after the launch of the new Nexus and the new Android, a lot of visual changes await the main screen of the system. Interestingly, apparently these changes will not go to the Google Now Launcher, which each of us can be downloaded from Play store. These new products, which are reported by Android Police, have hit only smartphone with the Nexus line. At least for a time.
Android Nougat say goodbye tray application?
From a number of sources reached the information supposedly new Android were to follow the path traced by the overlay of Chinese producers and abandon the drawer applications for orders icons on desktops. But it did not happen.
However, the icon tray application with Nexus disappear. Instead, a list of all the applications we call dragging your finger from the bottom of the screen, or tap the arrow on the lower row of icons on the desktop. To hide the list is enough to drag a finger down or touch the Back button.
Another change is the removal of the main desktop (finally!) the Google search bar. Android Police also suggests that the icon will also serve as a shortcut to access Google Assistant, which – as I suspect – not seen for some time in Poland, or see in a very limited form, as today’s Now on Tap.
Another, albeit a very small change, is the ability to quickly turn off Google Now panel – simply no longer hold your finger on your desktop to access a choice of wallpapers, etc., and the menu settings turn on a single button, the desktop, or disable Google Now.
We may also disable showing the suggested application at the top of the list of applications.
