The market counts only Android and iOS – Tabletowo.pl

Once Android , iOS and (despite everything) Windows Phone ruled the market. Now, however, it has on it, only the first two. Microsoft’s mobile system is slowly falling into oblivion.

According to Gartner, in the second quarter of 2016 years sold a little more than 344 million smartphones (TrendForce doliczyło to turn 315 million). As many as 99.1% of them worked under the control of Android or iOS . Of course, leads the Google operating system – from April 1 to June 30, the market went 297 million devices from The Green little robots . As for Apple, it was more than 44 million iPhones (interestingly, the same producer says it was 40.4 million, which is slightly less).

Windows Mobile, but the third, literally disappears in the eyes. In the second quarter of 2015 years its shares were 2.5%. A year later, it is only 0.6%, which is four times less. At this rate for the year will reach the level they are currently represented by a BlackBerry. Operating system Canadians worked for 0.1% of all purchased in Q2 2016 smartphone.

At this point it is worth noting one more thing: in the second quarter of 2016 years the market went 1,971 million smartphones with Windows mobile. 1.2 million, that is, 60% of them are Lumie (referring to the results published by Microsoft). this means that the remaining 771,000, or 40%, came from other manufacturers. it’s a lot, considering the fact that the market is quite enough proposals with this operating system. But, as you can see, those already on it are pretty good sell.
