Android 7.0 is officially available and holders of last year’s smartphone Google Nexus 5X / 6P can install it on their devices. And when other manufacturers make available a new operating system on their outfits?
Android updates is on-river. Some manufacturers of mobile devices to watch, to make their outfits as soon as you have received the update, others are asking to completely ignore the topic, releasing updates discretion, or … not letting them all. Traditionally, not all appliances have a new version of Android 7.0 Nougat.
The new Android 7.0 is more evolution than revolution, but little new is really a lot. The most important of them should be the introduction of multi-tasking on a split screen, the possibility of adjusting the size of the interface elements, built-in calibration screen, night mode, or the new center of notifications. Under the hood is also a lot of changes, including the API Vulkan, which aims to provide better optimization for mobile games.

When my smartphone will get an update to Android 7.0 Nougat?
In the coming days we will know the list of devices and indicative deadlines for updates. As there will be more information this entry and the following list will be updated.
Keep in mind the fact that Android updates are released in stages, and their availability depends on the region, type of device, the version of the device, and mobile network operator.
Google Nexus – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
5X holders of Nexus and Nexus 6P and tablet Pixel C already receive an update to the new version of Android. Full list of devices that will be updated, is as follows:
- Nexus 5X
- Nexus 6P
- Nexus 6
- Nexus Player
- Pixel C
- Nexus 9
- Android One
However, even though it was known for a long time, confirmed that Android 7.0 Nougat not receive holders of Nexus 5.
SONY – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
for now, the full list of products that will receive the new Android (except Nexus ) reported only Sony. Android 7.0 will appear on the following devices:
- Xperia X Performance
- Xperia XA Ultra
- Xperia XA
- Xperia X
- Xperia Z5 Premium
- Xperia Z5 Compact
- Xperia Z5
- Xperia Z4 Tablet
- Xperia Z3 +
the manufacturer stresses the fact that this list may still change, and updates will be released in stages. Their availability is also dependent on the particular region and operator.
LG – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
LG will not be made available for the time being the full list of devices, but it’s their smartphone as the first will debut with the new Android on board. Prime Minister LG V20 announced on September 7, 2016 of the year and very likely that it will be working directly under the control of Android 7.0 Nougat.
There is also no doubt that the update will receive the LG G5 and last year’s LG G4 – for the rest of the models have such certainty, we can not and we must wait for the list from the manufacturer. So far, LG, especially in Poland, circulated system updates very efficiently. We hope that this time they will.
Samsung – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
Samsung also did not give a full list of products, but based on the experience of recent years we can expect an update to the flagship Note 7, Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge and last year’s S6 / S6 Edge / S6 Edge Plus and Note 5.
Personally, I do not expect to make devices of series A and series J received version 7.0 Nougat, since some of them are still working on the basis of version 5.1.
Huawei – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
Full list of products that will receive the update is to released soon. However, we can assume that the flagship P9 / P9 and Mate Plus 8 will receive the update. Global branch Huawei swears that its new products will receive updates for at least two years, so we hope that now begin to fulfill that promise.
Sorry, I would not expect an update for models P8 Mate 7 Mate and S. while in the case of the former possible that Android 7.0 Nougat will appear at a later date, so Mate 7, and especially Mate S seem to be written off.
HTC – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
HTC remains the great unknown. The manufacturer at the premiere of the middle A9, then, the flagship HTC 10 promised that its new products will receive an update to the new version of Android on a par with Nexusami and up to 14 days after the official launch of the new system.
So far there is no indication that the HTC was the promise fulfilled, nor is there any official statement regarding the planned availability.
as a reminder, this year it is the HTC to be the manufacturer of the new Nexus – maybe this cooperation will change something in terms of an update other devices.
Moto Lenovo / Motorola – when and for whom the Android 7.0 Nougat?
Politics Motorola after the acquisition by the Lenovo remains the great unknown. So far, smartphones Moto line received a new version of Android within max. 3 months from the date of its release. Will it be this time? We do not know.
The new Moto Moto Z and Z Force, and reportedly having to appear Moto Play With Marshmallow debut with Android on board. I expect, however, that it is precisely these devices, and last year’s Moto X Style and Moto X Force will be the only ones to receive the update to the new version of the Green Robot.
Important: The list will be updated and expanded to include official information as soon as the information from the manufacturers.
