Many improvements of Android 7.0 is already in the MIUI 8 (version developer) such as “secound space”, “multi-window mangament”, “better conserve battery”, or new notifications bar.
As for the plans of Google and Xiaomi would not be so sure – as far as I know it’s this year established closer cooperation. This applies to snap to a TV, but it may have some implications about the system on their device.
