The most recent statistics released by Google on the Android Developers blog, which cover a period of one week to 7 September 2015., shows that 39.2 per cent. active devices based on Android is currently under the control of the system in version 4.4 (KitKat).
KitKat in the last month lost only 0.1 points. percent. share, while increased advantage over Android 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which had a more pronounced decline – from 33.6 per cent. to 31.8 percent.
The declines recorded in the earlier versions of the system – Gingerbread 2.3 (from 4.6 per cent. to 4.1 per cent.), 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (with 4.1 percent. 3 7 per cent.) and 2.2 Froyo (from 0.3 per cent. to 0.2 per cent.).
The third and final Android – 5.0 and 5.1 (Lollipop) – won 21 percent. share, which is the result by 2.9 percentage points. percent. better than at the beginning of August.
