Lollipop Android 5.1.1 is available for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Z, ZL … – Tabletowo.pl

Most companies quite quickly abandon support for older models, but luckily Sony in opposition to such producers. Perfectly demonstrates the fact that the Japanese have just started the process of updating no longer the latest flagship devices to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Currently, the update hits already on board the Xperia Tablet Z, Z, ZL and ZR.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is currently the latest version of Google, which is available officially (6.0 is coming increasingly larger steps). Sony’s strategy may seem a strange way, because it provides a “lollipop” for a two-year or even longer three-year equipment, which in the world of “green the robot” unfortunately is a rarity. Most of the changes are purely cosmetic, no major modernization, and a new overlay of the Japanese people we will have to wait a little longer.

The update is available for the following versions of smartphones and tablets Xperia Tablet With WiFi (SGP311, SGP312) and LTE (SGP321), Z (C6602A, C6603), ZL (C6503, C6506) and Xperia ZR (C5503). Soon update should be available via OTA (Over-The-Air) in our country. It is also worth noting that the update is not until the end removed the risk associated with Stagefright, so probably a little later there will be additional “patches”.

I am pleased that Sony keeps his promises and provide the latest software for older devices Xperia series Z. I’m curious, how will present a detailed list of smartphones and tablets from different manufacturers, which would bring them Marshmallow formal way.
