Android Lollipop finally crossed the threshold of 21% and KitKat still … – Tabletowo.pl

As already happens in many months, older versions of Android are slowly fading into oblivion, while newer gaining in popularity. Of course, Google has made available now, at the beginning of September, the latest information on this topic. Although it is difficult to accept the current situation as an ideal, it’s all heading towards better.

In August, Lollipop Android (5.0 + 5.1) was on board 18.1% of devices that zalogowały to Google Play. Now, while “Lollipop” has increased in popularity to 21%, which is an average result, because soon will be released a newer version 6.0 Marshmallow. First place KitKat remained, although he lost last month by a modest 0.1%. This is partly due to the fact that slowly gets more and more devices update to 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop.

slowly weakening as Jelly Bean (4.1-4.3). During the September survey scored 31.8%, which represents a regression of 1.8% compared to last month’s statement. On the other hand Gingerbread finally goes into oblivion, although it is still present in up to 4.1% of devices. Froyo appeared in only 0.2% of smartphones and tablets. I’m curious as marshmallow adopt on the market – most likely, like its predecessors, slowly and steadily will be climbed upwards statement.

Different versions and a comparison to the shares prior to the month:

  • 2.2 Froyo 0.2% (vs. 0.3%)
  • 2.3 Gingerbread 4.1% (vs. 4.6%)
  • 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich: 3.7% (vs. 4.1%)
  • 4.1 Jelly Bean: 12.1% (vs. 13%)
  • 4.2 Jelly Bean: 15.2% (vs. 15.9%)
  • 4.3 Jelly Bean 4.5% (vs. 4.7%),
