Casio first SmartWatch Android Wear – CHIP

At first glance, the new Casio SmartWatch hits in sporty style. Large, round, 1.32-inch display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels work under water even at a depth of 50 meters. The watch meets military standard MIL-STD-810 and a compass, accelerometer and pressure sensor.

In addition, Casio has equipped SmartWatch some useful shields, which may appear such information as the amount of atmospheric pressure, compass direction sunrise and sunset if their activity as measured by the watch. Between these data, we can switch to using a physical button, making the use of the watch will not be difficult even when wearing gloves.

Minus is unfortunately one and it’s pretty discouraging – battery life is limited to just one day, which considering the fact that the SmartWatch is dedicated to persons who are resident in nature, can be shot in the knee. What is interesting, however, Casio decided to implement here battery saving mode, in which the display is transformed into a monochrome screen showing only an hour. In this mode, the watch can survive up to a month.

Smart Outdoor Watch WSD-F10 will be launched in the second half of the year, and its price will be around $ 500.
