Smart watches with the Android Wear put on the market primarily manufacturers of smartphones and tablets. Recently, however, they are joined by other companies – especially those related to watchmaking industry, as Fossil, Tag Huer, or … Casio. The last of these has presented proof SmartWatch WSD-F10.
The unit has been called the “Smart Outdoor Watch” for a reason – for the first look at them in the eye strikes housing rugged that meets military standards for resistance to MIL-STD-810, so niestraszne are his shock and contact with water up to 50 meters (IP67 at the same time is a “piece of cake”).
WSD-F10 is equipped with 1 32-inch display with a resolution of 300 × 320 pixels, which is (not really) round – like Moto 360 both generations. The watch has dimensions of 61.7 x 56.4 x 15.7 mm.
Casio offers a special mode to monochrome display hours, allowing operation time can be extended up to a month. The most important Casio WSD-F10 will, however, dedicated applications, which will measure and display on its screen the information collected using a pressure sensor, compass and accelerometer. These will be useful especially when hiking.
Of course, as befits the SmartWatch with Android Wear, Casio product will be compatible with applications on this platform. The most important will be here to play various programs to track activities such as RunKeeper, ViewRanger is MyRadar.
Casio WSD-F10 will be available in April at a price of approx. $ 499.
