Android as opposed to Windows is the platform completely free. The user will receive it with a smartphone and not have to pay for subsequent system updates. This does not mean, however, that Google responsible for this system, nothing on it earns. Journalists Bloomberg announced how much the company from Mountain View, earned for its product. It came to them that since the introduction of Android on the market, the platform has brought 31 billion dollars in revenue, while profit amounted to 22 billion dollars. Information is provided by lawyers Oracle, which recently sued Google process, accusing the company of using Android to create Java software without paying licensing fees.
Google obviously is not satisfied with the disclosure of this information because, as officials said the Internet giant it comes from confidential financial documents. But this shows perfectly how much income is the Android system.
