Mitsubishi Electric is preparing solutions for different manufacturers. The company today unveiled its new multimedia device that appears in the prototype Cadillac.
FlexConnect Solution will be based on the Android operating system. It is a 12.1-inch touch display that will work as a command center on board the car.
The driver and passenger will have easy access to it, and the service itself has to be very intuitive. The unit will operate in several modes: full screen, half the screen, one-third of the screen. This means that drivers will be able to operate using FlexConnect not only navigation, but also air conditioning, radio and other functions at the same time.
The system consists of a digital dashboard has a size of 12.3 inches and a head-up display.
It is unknown when the device will appear in the production model, and what will be its price.
