Still full of regret for LG constantly I monitor news reports in the Android Wear. The latest update has indeed not passed on to users, but through the new SmartWatch LG Watch Urbane we know exactly what to expect from it. And in short, I am fully satisfied her.
About what appears in the new version of the platform for the watches we wrote quite some time – but today we have a full picture of how present themselves all the reported news in system. Many users from the United States decided not to wait for the official start of sales Watch Urabne in the United States, earning a new watch from other sources – from mobile operators or other countries. As a result, they could boast of its acquisition on YouTube and present all the innovations in the system, whose latest edition is already pre-installed on Watch Urbane.
Okay, but how much of this Polish?
The first of which mention is the emergence of the Polish language. Unfortunately, we do not know how deep its implementation because we have only a short recognition, which are visible messages in Polish: “Welcome” and “Move to start”. However, I do not expect a full integration with Google Now, which together with voice commands. About this known would have a bit earlier, perhaps during the debut another update for the Android Lollipop. The presence of the Polish language, however, can be, but not necessarily, to announce the introduction of watches from running Google for official sale in our country. Full of admiration I wrote about the use Chromecast by HBO Go Poland, but with the official launch of Google dongle still do not know anything.
This is better, but not perfectly
Among the changes in the interface should mention the delicate change in the presentation of the icons of the sound profile – instead of the carousel they are now stacked next to each other. However, Google still has not opted for separation of the notification activity on the watch and phone, which was possible before the previous update, Android Wear. Were reorganized settings – further items on the list carry more intiucyjne name. Two options are integers news – Wi-Fi connectivity and the ability to switch between cards / notification with the movement of the wrist. The first of them will go to all smartwatchy on the market, but fortunately the other will be available to all.
Applications!
Using the watch also becomes much easier – so far located deep in the settings of the watch list of installed small programs now appears the gesture left on the screen. By scrolling vertically we will review all applications and to the right this time, Google has added a list of contacts that will accelerate the establishment of conversation, and even further, Google Now is available. Holding the crown of the watch will take us directly to the launcher. For people using emoji, Google has also prepared recognition feature pictures drawn on the screen, turning them on actual emoji that we can send to your friends.
No revolution is a good thing
Without a doubt, these are not changes that could determine revolutionary. And very well, because I did not expect and I do not need. The foundations on which was built the Android operating principles Wear I consider to be the best on the market. Upgrade brings some necessary cuts, which provide very quickly appreciate in using the watch every day. This does not mean, however, that does not count on more – Google certainly aware that Apple Watch is a device that can simultaneously serve the smartwatchom, including those from the Android Wear, and at the same time threaten them. Clearly, the Prime Minister Apple watch contributed to Google like inspiration. Keep it up.
