Android 6.0 hits the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge – so far only in beta – benchmark.pl (Register)

When Samsung a good move with the update of Android for its smartphones? In theory still we are talking about January, but in practice it may look quite different.

The latest version of the logo green robot has just started on the models of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Galaxy Edge. Reasons to be optimistic, however, is not. Speaking for the system in beta, so this requires many more amendments. Well it realizes the fact, given that this is a beta last until 18 January.

By this date, an update can therefore forget. What will be next? This at the moment is impossible to predict. It is possible that the implementation of the renovation will start a few days later. It may well be, however, that need further tests and the final version will have to wait another week.

Initially reported that the beta will be available only to residents of South Korea. But already coming voices that you can enjoy it as well in the UK and can not be ruled out that the list of countries will expand.

There is apparently some new, pleasing animation, the option to save images in RAW format, Pro mode in the camera application, and Google Now On Tap.
