Android N will get the opportunity to work on a split screen – FrazPC.pl

Both Android and iOS initially were designed mainly as an operating system for smartphones. Then appeared on the market tablets, which forced the creators of the changes adapted to new forms of hardware, and now attack us hybrids 2in1, which no longer serve only to basic tasks and entertainment, because more and more often their efficiency allows for far more advanced application.

During a recent session Reddit AMA, which concerned the release of Pixel C, working for Google Andrew Bowers answering questions ran slightly ahead and revealed that the company is working on several major news for Android N (next big version of the system), including the long-awaited work function in a split screen.

It is worth recalling that Microsoft has provided such an option in Windows 8 already in 2012, and Apple introduced her recently with iOS on the iPad 9 Pro, so Google must in this regard chase rivals. It is true that some manufacturers provided the opportunity to work on a split screen in their overlays, but it looks like that next year we will see official support for this option on Android.
