Google has made available on its servers images of Android 6.0.1 for the Nexus series smartphones. The new version of the system, as suggested quickie, this edition focused mainly on amendments and eliminating errors. What, however, does not mean that there was no tangible in the news.
Android 6.0.1
Google’s servers available images of Android 6.0.1 for all commercially available Nexus – from the Nexus 5. Last did not happen often, so it’s worth noting this fact. What, however, introduces a new Android 6.0.1? Most of the news is not visible to the naked eye. Google traditionally has improved performance, stability and reliability of their platform. One of the biggest news is the service emoji included in the Unicode 8. This makes a total hundreds of new faces, stamps and patterns that we can put in our messages, and more. With less relevant news worth mentioning the mute function returns notifications to next alarm – do not know why, removed it from Android 6.0. On the tablet Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 changed while the appearance of the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Back and home buttons moved to the left edge, and multitasking – to right. In contrast, holders of Nexus 5, 6, 7 and 9 were given the opportunity to turn the camera application by double-pressing the power button.
In parallel with Android 6.0.1 debuted in December security bulletin that eliminates further problems, patch the vulnerability and makes the device less vulnerable to attacks (or at least this is the assumption).
OTA update should start today, but will be made available to the parties. Therefore, arm yourselves with patience because it may take several days before you will receive a notification to install the new Android 6.0.1.
Reminders on the calendar
New in Android is one thing, Google applications ‘and the latter. Here, updates are made available more often. The latest version of the mobile Google Calendar function appeared reminders. It is a kind of counterpart of tasks that can be organized into lists and assign to specific days. It is therefore ideally presented in the above video. You can create a series of reminders, and also receives tips as you make them. Eg. By saying “call …” we will see a list of contacts to which we might want to call. A new feature is also supported from the Google Now – just tell smartphone (digitizer) remind us of something. Unfortunately, not all news are available in the Polish version. I noticed that hints mechanism operates in incomplete form, but a voice recording reminders pretty good.
This update should appear momentarily on Google Play. The impatient can manually download the APK Mirror calendar.
PlayStation Messages
Google stores Play and AppStore appeared PlayStation Messages application gives us access to the messaging system built into the console. Communicator is relatively simple. Users can send messages single friend or a group of users. Features built here to share graphics and decals. There were also a mechanism organization of contacts – including favorites list. Messages were previously available from the PlayStation mobile application, but have been removed. Now back as a separate product.
