Adobe for a long time treated the Android users neglect. The best mobile apps or completely bypassed Google’s platform, or popping up with a big delay. Today, however, came an important day for photographers who edit photos on smartphones and tablets. Adobe Lightroom Mobile on Android from today is completely free!
In October this year, Adobe had “freed” Lightroom Mobile for iOS. Previously, the application can be downloaded for free, but to unlock all the features needed a subscription photo in Adobe Creative Cloud service. Along with the launch of the Lighroom Mobile 2.0, Adobe has abolished these limitations. Users of iOS now can use all the mobile features of Lightroom for free.
Now, the same surprise is also available on Android
Adobe today made available the new version of Lightroom Mobile on Android. The main change is the fact that until the application is not required to Adobe Creative Cloud account, nor more subscriptions to this service. Every Android user has full access to all functions of the organization, editing and sharing photos.
Mobile Lightroom, however you can still synchronize your Adobe account CC. If you use a plan photographic or have purchased Lightroom subscription, you can sync photos and settings between desktop and mobile installment in Lightroom.
Adobe stresses that Android as a platform in recent times is growing strongly, including for photographs. More and more smartphones puts a strong emphasis on the camera, and Android 5.0 starting from the Lollipop system efficiently handles RAW files in the DNG format. Lightroom Mobile, of course, supports this type of file, so you can take advantage of the full potential of the camera smartphone.
Lightroom Mobile is probably the most advanced image editing application
Mobile Lightroom is best operated on the tablet, and even on the smartphone application is very useful. The principle of operation is very similar to a desktop application program. First we must import photos from a memory smartphone, so you can work within your application only on selected collections of photos. Like “adult” LR Mobile also lets you evaluate scene photos and determination of their flag.

Lightroom Mobile may be a little too complicated for people who have not had previous contact with the desktop version, but I’m sure that after a few processed images everything will become clear. On the other hand, photographers who use Lightroom on your computer will feel at home. Anyway, really worth giving a chance to the new version of the mobile Lightroom.
